The Winky Gang consists out of two herds: The Winky girls and The Winky team.
Here you can read more about the Winky Gang, read Professor Igor's PLAY research and

The Winky team lives in Haarlem in the Netherlands with their slave Janneke.
Man of the house is young boar Igor, but this doesn't mean he gets to lie down
and relax because his girls Suus and Yaya keep him on his toes.
Igor is always up to something and his girls are always willing to comment..

The Winky girls was an all girl herd that was reigned with a strong paw by Guiny
until 27 October 2009. The remaining Winky girls are lively Dunya and lovely Woopy.
The Winky girls manage the website together with their Slave Mieke.
Recently the Valentines were added. These were two hefty boars coming from the shelter
where Slave Mikey worked, named Chico and Toby. They are called the Valentines,
because Mikey was allowed to adopt them as a Valentines gift from her boyfriend.
Unfortunately Toby left us in June 2009, so now only Chico remains.

Who is this Winky?
Well, Winky was Mieke's first guinea pig, a nice sweet black and white rex boar.
Mieke's brother named his guinea pig Dobby after the house elf in Harry Potter.
Therefore Winky was named after the other house elf in the Harry Potter series.

The Winky Team:

Name: Yaya
Nicknames: Prut, the actress
Date of Birth: October 20th 2005, with a breeder
Hairstyle: I'm really special; I'm a coronet guinea pig, which means I have long hair and a crown on my head. The crown is white and my other colours are black, cream and choco. Having that many colors is kinda rare, and I'm also a Satin Pig, which means that my fur is shiny and soft. Unfortunately this also means I have a disease called OD.
Character: I pretend to be the lowest one in rank but in the meantime i get everything I want by squealing on the top of my lungs.
Hobbies: Chewing on things (like.. everything, newspaper, poo, plastic, fleece..). Cuddling with Igor and remodeling the cage together. I also like hiding under things.
Dislikes: Bad hay, the syringe, especially when it's filled with medicine.

Name: Igor
Nicknames: Professor Igor, Igor the Irristible, Igor the Impossible
Date of Birth: Januari 4th 2007 in a guinea pig shelter. I joined the Winky team in september 2007
Hairstyle: Curly! (slave won't let me have dreadlocks). I have a black eye-patch like a pirate, an orange shirt and a black bum
Character: I pretend to be very cool but when push comes to shove I run away like a little girl.
Hobbies: Popcorning!!! Rumblestrut blues, Mischief with Fugly, chasing the Ladies (brrrrr) and cuddling with my slave. Like Yaya, I also like to remodel everything.
Dislikes: Scissors, tomatoes.

The Winky girls:

Name: Dunya
Nicknames: Duniboen, bolletje (=little ball), kleine rat (=little rat)
Date of Birth: probably May, 2006, with a breeder
Hairstyle: I am a smooth-haired Himalayan, with a white heart-shaped spot in my dark nose-smudge
Character: I am a smart little piggy, I used to know when it was time to get back in the cage and would climb into the tube, wheek one time as to say, okay you can pick me up now.. I love to get a chin rub and lick daddy slave's nose and cheeks.
Hobbies: lying in the hay(crib), climbing on things, getting a chin rub
Dislikes: loud noises like the vacuum cleaner, people coughing, getting picked up

Name: Woopy
Nicknames: Wolletje (woolly), Woopypoepie
Date of Birth: April 16th, 2008, with a very sweet breeder
Hairstyle: I am an agouti Rex with a cream colored line, from my neck to my left front paw
Character: I am very loud and inquisitive.
Hobbies: relaxing in the basket, wheeking loudly, popcorning for hay
Dislikes: getting picked up

Name: Chico
Nicknames: Tsjiek/chic
Date of Birth: September 6, 2007. Me and Toby came from the shelter where Mieke works
Hairstyle: US Teddy is Brown (chocolate), Brown-Orangy and White
Character: I love to eat and have gained LAPS status (I weigh a whopping 1360 gr). I am still a bit jittery... but do love a good nose rub.
Hobbies: eating, being brushed, relaxing on our wooden house and getting a nose rub
Dislikes: getting picked up

Rainbow Pigs

Name: Winky
Nicknames: het Schaap (the sheep), Moeflon (mouflon, smallest sheep breed), Pitbull
Date of Birth: unknown, became 3 and a half years old.
Hairstyle: dalmatiner rex (black head, white body, with black smudges
Character: very quiet, mostly enjoyed eating and sleeping
Hobbies: sleep and eat.
Dislikes: Birds

Name: Jan the Boar
Nicknames: Casanova, Beertje (=little boar)
Date of Birth: Unknown, but we celebrated June the 24th (2005). He was born in a Pet shop and saved by Granny. He went to the bridge on september the 4th when he was 2 years old.
Hairstyle: A choco Sheltie, which meant he had long thick brown hair.
Character: Sweetest pig ever. Absolute flirt with the ladies, regardless of species. Also a bit headstrong.
Hobbies: Performing the rumblestrut blues with his friends the Jolly Rodents. He was a strong defender of boars rights. He also liked getting a massage during laptime, especially belly rubs. Flirting, getting a shave (no joke.. really..)
Dislikes: Getting teased because of his girly wheek. Perfume on furniture, although that didn't stop him from chewing on it...

Name: Lotje
Nicknames: Lottefrot, Hondje (doggy), kanarie (canary, she was a chirper)
Date of Birth: around January, 2004, from a pet shop. She reached the respectable age of 4 years old.
Hairstyle: Red(orange) and white Rex
Character: Lotje was a real happy go lucky pig. She assumed the mother-role when Yaya came to live with the Winky girls. She was also very very food-oriented. The only thing she liked better was her Daddy slave.
Hobbies: ehm, Eating.. eating and ehm more eating? Oh yes, cuddling with daddy slave
Dislikes: not having food

Name: Robbie
Nicknames: Robbeltje
Date of Birth: first half of 2004, from a pet shop. He reached the respectable age of 5 years old.
Hairstyle: Red(orange) and white Rex
Character: Robbie was owned by our mother, and was a very relaxed maybe even lazy boar. He and our mom's boyfriend were best buds
Hobbies: Eating and lying in the hay.
Dislikes: getting check ups

Name: Guiny; she was Mikey's oldest sow, and currently the eldest of all the Winky gang, she became 5,5 years old.
Nicknames: Guinybin, the guiny bitch, lady guinyvere, kat(cat)
Date of Birth: probably March, 2004, born in a pet shop.
Hairstyle: I am smooth-haired in black, brown and white.
Character: I am a real character and used to be the leader of the Winky girls. Well most of my time at least, when slave just got me I was very scared, and Lotje would boss me around. But that soon changed and I grew into a well fed somewhat chubby pig. I never really was a people's pig, but I do appreciate their presence. I will go looking for my slaves during floortime. I am also very smart, and I understand the concept of opening a door, and when I was little Lotje got a whole carrot and I would sit next to Lotje and gnaw through the carrot and run away with the biggest piece. I would also go and get a slice of cucumber, hide it in my house and come back for another piece. Smart,huh!?
Hobbies: Nowadays as I am getting older I'm becoming a real cuddle bug and love to lie on my slaves lap. I used to be hard to catch cause I could run very fast (doing '8'-shaped laps) and would not go back into the cage when I was out. I would have to be persuaded to go into the blue carriage (which was actually a pigloo) and was then carried into the cage. This has earned me the name 'Lady Guinyvere'.
Dislikes: not having a house to chill in, cheeky cagemates

Name: Toby
Nicknames: Toob
Date of Birth: August 29, 2007. Me and Chico came from the shelter where Mieke worked
Hairstyle: I am a smoothaired cinnamon agouti.
Character: I am very inquisitive, make loads of noise and can easily be picked up, even when playing in the kitchen.
Hobbies: Being petted, being in Hammock, and rumbling (I am good at wiggling my butt! ;)
Dislikes: to be discovered, being at shelter.
